Since J has been waiting for me to blog (yes i admit i have not been blogging much), i shall blog about some incidents that has happened over the past few months. It's already december, this year has indeed passed so fast.

This year was also filled with deaths from my both sides of my family. It's ironic how my grandmother from my dad's side passed away in feb, and my grandfather from my mum's side passed away in nov. Both had cancer, but didn't really die from it. Both were in their 80s and the saddest part is that not both were Christians. The difference between their funerals and how much they were prepared were really massive. There is a fine line between 'all along' and 'just for now'. Why is that it is so difficult to show basic care and concern when the person is alive? Why wait till they are gone? My grandfather has inspired and touched many of us because he put aside his disappointments (unfortunately) and his anger, asked for forgiveness, forgave others and prayed over his children :') That is what true love is, isn't it?

Anyway i know my grandfather is happily in heaven, enjoying himself in a way we cannot imagine (yet). I envy that he has departed from this wicked world though. All the memories we shared, and the pictures we had will forever be etched in my heart. Till we meet again soon! No goodbyes, only see you later ;)

J came for another sleepover on mon-wed and we sure had lots of bonding/fun together :D We did so many things and laughed so much. I really love our 'scrabble dash - charade game' we made up. My tummy hurt from laughing, but i enjoyed it a lot. Played so much wii (like we always do) and made our very own creations of out clay! Photos below!

Moving on, I finally graduated from Murdoch University! After all the hard work, effort and money, i can proudly say that i have succeeded with the help of God :) Here are some pictures :

LICENSED TO DRIVE.

Looks like it's been a really long time since i've actually updated my blog, and quite a bit of things have happened and are going to happen over these few months.

- I've caved in after a long time and created twitter! (I told myself the day my mum created it, so will i. I kept my promise ;) ) It's actually a very good way of sharing and encouraging people, especially people with the same beliefs, so on that note, it's more interesting than i thought. I guess my intention of twitter is different from many cause i don't follow any celebrity at all!

- Finally passed my driving test on the third try! Passed on the 18th Aug, which means its already been 1 month plus :) I drive mostly on weekends, and am still getting used to situations and routes... really fun and enjoyable. Can't wait to be confident enough to be able drive alone.

- Am a proud owner of my own SLR, the olympus pen EPL-1. Yeah, it's not the newest model of the pen series but i got it half the price at the IT fair and all i need is an SLR with a interchangeable lense with some art filters and manual modes since Dee the DSLR is Krystal's. It has gotten to a point where i would prefer a SLR to a DSLR just plainly on the size and weight of a DSLR. Nonetheless, am satisfied :)

- Bought a new acoustic guitar (3rd addition) called whiskers, since we enjoy and are learning how to play it in a 'professional' way.

-Waited close to a year for my graduation ceremony which will take place on 10th oct! So excited to be finally doing it, especially with Judy whom i started my diploma with :) I know my parents have been waiting for this day too.

Many other things happened over these 3 months so i'll post some pictures up!

i've been thinking a lot recently, a little too much maybe.

we often complain how this person can't be like that person and comparing one another when we don't evenreally know the other person! we always have the tedency of taking things and people for granted. guess we really don't know what we've got till its gone. although it's never too late to realise and appreciate the person again, that period will surely hurt one another.

i know we should let go and let god, as my title states. it's tough but when it's done, you feel so relieved you've done it and maybe you feel a tad better. when people say try being in the other person's shoes, many dont't mean it, they don't even try. they just assumed. one of the worst thing to do is to assume, because most of the times, people always assume wrongly.

the feeling of feeling uncomfortable, stranger-like and akward with someone when it was actually comfortable and close feels rather strange. but what if that's actually what they want? what if they are enjoying it and liking it? anyway, people change with time but if they change for the good, great. but what if they change not for the good, yet thinks its better? you can't do much except see how it goes and wait till the person actually says something about it, whether liking it or not. sometimes silence is a form of acceptance, and in my case, its a form of : you want it this way, you will get it this way.

well, all these are just thoughts in general, nothing personal. iim not emo or anything, just wanted to write my thoughts down so i can re-read it in future. its really tough typing on my bb ( yes, finally! got it on my birthday :) ) cause i can't use caps and its so small!

CRAVING TO EAT...

Udder's Baileys & Bourbon Ice cream!!! Finally got to have a taste of Udders with k and mich. We went to have our little food adventure from udders to ecp lagoon food center with the BEST oyster omelette and bbq chicken wings yet ;) yummmmm.

We also spent quite abit of time at the beach, it's been so long since i've done that. Just relaxing with the wind blowing my hair all over the place, and dirtying our feet with sand, just having fun :) Can't upload pictures though, want to but can't.

So...still thinking of when to go celebrate my 20th at USS! First time going into USS, while it's k's 2nd time. Still trying to find a suitable date, but am sure it's gonna be fun nonetheless. Can't wait!

CROSSROADS.

So, i failed my driving test yesterday. HAHA. yeah i still can laugh, no big deal what! My nerves got the best of me, i guess. Everything was going well (suprisingly i didn't hit any kerbs) but something very wrong happened during my reverse parking. I've just got to practice, practice and more practice! Thankfully i got a nice tester though :) Oh well, i guess i'm not meant to drive till i'm 20! Next driving test in late june! If i pass, it would be an awesome 20th birthday present to myself :)

Right now, i'm at a crossroad not knowing where to go, what to do. The thing is, i don't really know what i want. Yeah i have interests in photography and food, but how do i go about it? What i want is to do something i like, not being stuck in the office 10 hours a day doing something i have no interest at all. I really don't want to regret wasting my time and choices i've made (although we have made a lot of wrong choices and decisions in life). So many people only realised and put their words into actions after a long time while 'suffering', but i know only He controls my life. So all i can do now is PRAY. I get so motivated and excited whenever i come across a story/show/insight where people are doing something they LOVE and get paid for it! That would be the best thing to do, and you would feel like you have not work at all in your life, cause you're doing something you enjoy so much, it doesn't feel like work! I just got to keep praying, and see where He leads me to. Guess that's called walking by faith and not by sight.

Me, mummy and k are going to sing k box later! Now, i'll just take each day as it comes, not knowing what my future brings, but one thing i know for sure : My future will be exciting, interesting and rewarding with God in charge of it :)

My driving test is on tuesday! I just hope i remember everything i learn and remember to GO SLOW. As my instructor says : DEAD SLOW. Mich, k and i suprised Judy with her 21st by bringing her to sing K box and we baked a fondant cake for her from scratch! Tough, but worth the effort. Xinlin came over to our house a few weeks back, had lots of fun with her, as usual. Pictures below! :) I can't upload pictures again, another time then! Mummy and i are craving to go sing K box! Soonish.

Last week was a week of physical and emotional distress, a rollercoaster of grief, tears and unhappiness. Just so glad it's over. You'l always have a place in my heart, grandmother. After all, you're the only grandmother i'll ever have to remember those 19 years plus memories, and i hope to see you again someday. It's so cute how they are called 'GRAND MOTHERS', but mothers are all great an grand cause without them there's no daddy and without daddy there's no me.

Now i'm left with two grandfathers ( how coincidental that men in my family tree lives longer), and my mummy's dad is really weak. He can't even see properly, he pretty much looks like a bag of bones :( Since he's so fragile and there's no one at home to take care of him, mummy decided to let him stay in our home, and here he is enjoying life :) Hopefully he puts on weight, or maybe we could donate some of our fats to him? Haha, we have aplenty.

Shermaine came to our house yesterday for a short period of games and pictures, had fun! Will upload some pictures later cause my lappy is spoilt and i want to get a new one soon! Can't wait for friday with lunch with K, zann and shouko and desert fam meet-up soon! :)

This month has been so packed. With driving lessons thrice a week and 3 interviews last few weeks, feb has been a busy month. First time having job interviews and i must say it was quite an experience but i didn't agree to anything because of my driving commitment. 12th april is THE date! I MUST PASS MY DRIVING TEST!!! (forcing it in into my sub-conscious.) Today marks my 14th driving lesson and i'm going on to learn parking etc in the circuit in march! Excited!

I've had trouble turning right in junctions as i kept turning into the wrong lane but as i go for more lessons, i've realised its just all about practicing. I'll practice as much as i can because my top priority is to get my driving license! It even comes before finding a job. HAHA, wonders if anybody is as desperate as me in wanting to get a license ASAP.

Blogger doesn't let me upload photos, so i guess these posts have to be wordy and picture-less.

RABBIT CHINESE NEW YEAR.

This year's CNY was much more noiser, messier, louder and crowded compared to last year's. Everybody is getting older, bigger and taller. It's amazing what a couple of years could change. I guess it's kinda like an 'excuse' or a 'reason' to meet up with relatives, which at times can be meaningless.

First day was as usual, went to dad's side place. There was steamboat on the eve of the eve of CNY where we all gathered to see grandma. First day of CNY was at grandma's place and she seemed happy to see everyone :) K, me and Jess went down to take many many pictures! HAHA with lots of laughters. Well, it beats being stuck in a very hot and small and bored place.

Second day of CNY was at our house, as usual. Almost everyone came, and i'm proud of myself for not snacking and drinking too much! Played lots of wii, band hero, laughed almost every 5 mins and wore myself out with a hyper active cousin who is 11 and can't sit still at all.

We were supposed to go to my aunt's house today but me and K decided to skip as K has work to do while i'm just tired. May this year be properous, healthy and happy for everyone!

I tried uploading some pictures but am not being able to do so :( I'll try to upload again.

This is the colour of our new bedroom walls! A plus point and satisfaction is that we painted the entire room ourselves! :) New walls colour, new table, new dressing table, new single beds, new feel. We just love it. Sometimes, change is indeed good.We've just created another creative, interesting and awesome place for photo-taking!

Mama's has been in the hospital for almost a month. It's sad seeing her like that, but there are reasons we'll never understand.

CNY is coming. Pros? $$ Cha Ching! Cons? I hope my worse fears won't come true :/ We so need to get our guitar strap, michrophones, another capo and another guitar stand.

Today marks my 5th driving lesson and i'm glad to say i'm feeling more comfortable with the car. It all takes lots and lots of practice and to me, driving = fun :)

Life so far has been AWESOME, and i thank God for that. It's just looking for jobs and driving lessons now. Once i start work? So long and farewell to freedom.

I'm glad me and K got new beds, study table and a dressing table for our room. There is never enough accessories and things to have, which makes storage a big problem. Hopefully we can find proper storage for all items.

The weather this month has been so unpredictable! From raining for just 5mins, back to the humid and hot weather the next second. We can never be sure of the weather. Oh and i need to get a new and solid umbrella!! Preferbly black ;)

Alrighty, going to skype with Judy soon. The weather makes me feel like i'm sitting on the equator :/

MY FIRST EXPERIENCE OF...

DRIVING!!!

Finally, after 19 years and 7 months, i actually got to use the break and accelerator pedals. I have been dreaming about this day ever since i took public transport. I told myself : I MUST START LEARNING TO DRIVE ONCE I REACH 18.

Had my first lesson on friday and it went well :) The next day i will be dreaming of is to get my driving license and start driving asap.

No more business lessons, only driving lessons & I'm totally loving it.

Note to self: I need to speak more chinese and learn more hokkien.

Just like that, 2011 has ended and 2011 has started.

2010 has been a pretty good year i guess, but i'm sure 2011 will be a better year.

I'm so thankful i'm finally done with my degree. However, graduation ceremony is in October. Well the best things come to those who wait! For now, no more studying in another 2-3 years! ;)

Resolutions for 2011 ( note to self) :

- Get my driving license ASAP so i can drive instead of taking public transport, and more of convenient's sake actually.

- Get a GOOD job which i don't dread waking up everyday to.

- The usual "Exercise More and eat more healthily" resolution which i do not usually keep to, but will try my best :)

- Be happier, not letting minor things affect me, which can affect health too.

- Learn to forgive and forget. (Almost impossible though, but i guess its possible somehow)

- Do more volunteering/charity work which can be in many different ways. It increases happiness.

- Be a better photographer, and make use of my photography.

Well, that's for now. It's good to have a list of things you want to achieve as it brings satisfactions to you. Have a smashing 2011!

MALACCA.

Overall, Malacca was not as wow as i expected in terms of food and shopping. The best moments were definetly the shopping in Jusco Shopping Center with just sooooo much shopping at such low prices and discounts! The best deal was the 4 pairs of i panama flip flops/slippers we got at almost half the price we would have got in Singapore! The food in Jusco was also one of the best so far, like The Chicken Rice Shop which sells many nice dishes but famous for their chicken which was excellent, nothing like Singapore's. The best seafood we ate there was somewhere secluded which our friendly taxi driver brought us. It's called Aunty Fatso seafood restaurant and the crabs were the best. Cheap prices + Yummy seafood = Happiness!

My flu stuck with me throughout the whole 3 days, and i had to even take flu panadol max to prevent it from becoming worse :( Apart from that, thinking it was bad, i had food vomiting on the last day while returning home to Singapore! It all started in the 4 hour straight coach, i ate a Fish o fillet from macs and i had an abdominal pain i never had before. 1 hour into it, i felt sooooo naseous and thank goodness for the stops to the immigration centers, i vomited so much at each stop and all the way home. In total, i vomited for about 20 plus times that day. It was just utterly horrible and terrbily, K caught it too when she reached home. We vomited till we could not even stand. We were just so.... WEAK.

Anyway on to Malacca, well one thing very different was the roads! Just look at the photo below of us walking. It seems like we were happy but we were actually more scared than happy because cars would pass you so near that you could almost 'touch' the cars. We only had a small margin of space to walk (not like how we were walking in the photo, as there were no cars at the moment), which was that tiny weeny space from the right of the yellow line! We had to walk pass a few of such roads to reach our hotel everyday. Had many scary encounters with cars/motorcycles/bicycles! Thank God for roads in Singapore.

Lastly, this was K and me chilling out at the traditional Peranakan Puri Hotel's seating area.

I would have enjoyed the trip more if i wasn't still having flu, didn't catch food poisoning, shopped more and ate more yummy food! Nonetheless, i had fun. That's all that really matters, isn't it? Might go to Chiang Mai and Shen Zhen next year, till then, i think i'll be staying in Singapore for quite some time, and i'm glad i am :)

Christmas should be a season of giving, not taking.
Giving is definetly an understatement.
It won't ever be the same anymore, but more meaningful that way.

OH THE IRONY

It is so ironic but i notice that i blog more when i'm busy and stress, compared to when i'm so free and bored. I'm trying to motivate myself by counting down to the 4th of dec!!! 5 more days! I'd better just take in all that has happen, cause it's gonna be awhile before i actually complain about stress and exams.

Next on my list is to get a job next year and start getting money in my pocket, along with taking driving lessons from nic's instructor. She's driving already! Talking about nic, me, krystal and judy met up with nic for lunch sometime last week and here's a picture of us below. Brings back memories of those good old diploma days :) Oh yes and i want to watch Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 3 awesome D!

There's just so many things to countdown to.

Countdown to 2011 : 33 days!

Countdown to christmas: 27 days!

But most importantly this year, countdown to the end of my exams/ degree and to the start of the malacca trip, which means FREEDOM! : 6 days!!!

Many people prefer studying to working, hands down. But, i guess i've had enough of studying for about 15 years now. Not something i love, but something i had to do. Now, i'll just see where God leads me to, and maybe i'll find something i love doing along the way.

For these 6 days, i'll try my best not to get distracted and to concentrate. Hey, i've got so many motivations to keep me going, so why so serious? Haha CHIONG AH!

Went to Sentosa Universal Studios with Veron, Oan and Krystal last month :) We didn't go in the amusement park as some rides weren't open, but still had lots of fun taking plenty of photos. Here are some of them :

The woman in pink wasn't oblivious that we were taking a picture cause she was staring in our camera for most of the shots we took! Inconsiderate, can't you tell she stole the limelight?! HAHA.

It's been ages since we have travelled, except for Daddy who goes for his yearly trip to taiwan/china. I'm estatic to say that we'll be going for a short trip to Malacca from the 4th to 6thDec! Thank God my exams finishes on the 3rd dec if not we wouldn't be able to go! Shop, eat and snap, shop, eat and snap. True Bliss.

Last semester, last modules, last exams and i'm done. Done with my degree, for now. Although this sem's group projects/people were the worse, i'm just glad its finally over. Christmas is coming, followed by CNY. But I'm not looking forward to it as much as i did last time. I guess i've grown up now, and i see what i couldn't see when i was younger. For now, it's study study study, and then party, party, party.

P.S note to self: Christmas wishlist 2010 includes a high quality mic for singing/recording, a mic stand and more wii games for the meantime. *wink

COCONUTS!

My family's going nuts over coconuts! We swear by them now and include them in almost every meal. People are coerced to think that coconut milk, coconut cream and coconut itself is just plain unhealthy and calorie-laden, but it's the total opposite! It's has so many benefits which is just countless. The best benefit to me is that coconut oil has weight loss benefits! It is a good fat which helps BURN bad fats. AWESOME right? Many many more benefits, believe it or not! Trying out so many yummy coconut recipes, simply exciting!

I need to know my exam timetable asap, need to plan! Can't rush, won't rush.
Off to finish up my last individual assignment before graduating! *smiles widely and imagines me and judy graduating together real sooon*

CHILD-LIKE.

There's a kid in everyone at some point in time.
There's a child-like nature in everyone of us, no doubt.
There's also child-like thinking in everyone in certain situations.
Sometimes, being a child benefits more than a grown up.
And He says we need to be like a child to go up there.

Meaning being as innocent,carefree and simple-minded as a child, NOT childish, ridiculous and immature like a kid. It's bad that you act like one, but you even think like one, when you're a full-grown adult. Who are you to judge others and bite the hand that brought you up?

Time passes by so quickly again. In a flash, it's october! So many things happened in September and 2 occasions was mummy's birthday and resort world sentosa (didn't go in universal studios, YET.) One thing for sure, I'll be back! :)

After having my fair share of a 2 week plus holiday, school starts again on wednesday. I was indeed suprised and so so thankful for my results. My very first distinction for my degree! What an accomplishment. I know it's part of His great plan with His perfect timing. I'm so glad it's my last semester and i only need to concentrate on my final 2 modules before graduating! Have been doing heavy work for daddy as well, can't wait for payday!

This week is going to be a busy one, hopefully an endearing one as well. Addicted to table tennis/ ping pong on wii! It's so real and so fun. Wii's probably one of the best investment for health and entertainment wise. Alrighty, going back to 'work' now :)

Happy 14th birthday Krystal and Happy National Day 2010!

It was your best birthday yet, and was one of my best days,just shopping and getting almost everything you want. It's truly a joy. I hope you enjoyed everything and more suprises will be coming! Yesterday was a day filled with emotions from tears of joy, tears of happiness and just plain happiness.

Thanks for everything these past 14 years and more to come. You're the closest thing to me and that ain't never ever going to change, okay! I promise. There's many things i've said and some things I'd like to keep it personally so i hope you will continue to enjoy and be suprised! :) LOVEYOU GIRL! Can you please don't be so cute? hahahaha jk la, i love you just the way you are!

Exams are over!!!!!!!! Out of 3 papers, 2 were fine. I just pray and praise that i can pass all. School reopens in September so i guess i've got about about 3 weeks of holiday, will definetly enjoy it!

OTB groupmates :) Thank God the presentation went well!

Again, just like that, our immune systems are down. Am still recovering from a nasty flu while k is down with high fever. SIGH. GO AWAY VIRUS. Anytime but this time is the time i need to be strong (exams!)

Last week of classes this week and then it's STUDY STUDY STUDY. Crucial core modules this sem, can't play play. I neeeed a break :( Who doesn't? The need to plan for certain things is urgent tooo! Sometimes i wish i had more then just one pair of hands.

I'm getting SO addicted to a tv drama called WHITE COLLAR. Actually, it seems like FLASH FORWARD 'copied' it somehow... but both dramas are really really exciting. It gets your brain thinking and it's just captivating. Still waiting for FF season 2! Good way to de-stresss. nice :)

It's been over a month since i last blogged and boy does it feel good to start again :) It's interesting to re-read what happened over the years and to re-enact those memories and experiences.

So much has happened over the last month, mostly tests, presentations and assignments as usual. Like a cycle, I'm hoping this monotonous cycle ends quickly. I don't want it to be another cycle when I'm working. Work.Lunch.Work.Dinner.Work. My goal is not to get a high-paying job and earn lots of money. Well it used to be, i mean who doesn't want that? But i don't want to do something i like, i want to do something i LOVE. I read this quote from somewhere : " Be wise when you choose your career, if you choose something you love doing, you won't feel like you worked a single day in your life. " So so true, not easy but i guess it's achievable when you know someone up there has full control in everything you do :)

Joy came back from the States and K, Shouko and i managed to spend 2 days with her before she heads off back next next week. Went cycling at ECP after a long-awaited craving to cycle :) Followed by ikea and swings! Pictures are above, will upload some on fb :) See you in December, maybe? Have a safe trip back!

The cycle continues (hopefully till dec for me) as exams will be in aug... one word: SIAN. There's always something good to look forward though. Guess whatttt, it's FRIDAY! :D Have a great weekend everybody (while mine will be filled with assignments/ projects) yeah, i'mma start right now.

Turning nineteen on saturday was nice, i guess i'm beginning to like growing up. Last teen year though, so enjoying it to the fullest is what i'm going to do :) Thankyou to each and every one of you who remembered and wished me, along with your cards, presents and heartfelt messages, not forgetting the early suprise party in March, thankyou! Something I'd never forget and hold close to my heart :)

Although i got my phone on my birthday, but all my birthday greetings were in my old phone :( Sigh, anyway I finally convinced K not to get an Iphone for a million reasons! Hahaha looks like she's getting the same smartphone as me, Nokia E71. Yes, i'm going back to nokia, where i had 5 out of my 7 phones from. It's definetly the most easy-friendly phone ever. Although i was contemplating to get the blackberry bold, i realised it's actually not what i expected. The price, the colour, the feel and look of it just didn't strike a chord with me. I'm happy with what i got, and if i really want a blackberry, i can always change it next year.

My walnut cut guitar i bought 5 years ago has surrendered :( No matter how much we tuned it, it just wasn't right. So, since i learnt plucking when i was 14, and k developed an interest, we learnt how to play songs we liked through the internet and it turned out pretty good, so we'll be heading down to peninsular plaza (popular for guitars) and buy a new one! Hope it lasts longer this time.

Dilemmas. We all have dilemmas once in a while, and we might not choose the better option sometimes. I guess we learn.

So, I've been thinking...blackberry or Iphone? It's going to be my birthday present from daddy, soooo glad i'll be getting it before my birthday. I want a blackberry much much more then an Iphone because of these :

-Blackberry is not as common as the Iphone! (seriously, i hate carrying something almost everyone has)

- Blackberry is much lighter and smaller compared to Iphone.

- Blackberry is as good as an Iphone except for apps.

-Daddy has an Iphone and K is going to get hers, so it makes me even more hesistant to get an Iphone.

-Both blackberry and Iphone are office-friendly which is good for future use but blackberry looks more sophisticated somehow, in my opinion.

- I miss the old-school buttons on the phone after all the touch screens functions.

The only advantage of an Iphone is the applications, which reminds me that i have an Ipod touch! Which is exactly the same but my version is the older one, but i can pay to change it to the newer one and so i can download all my apps, games and songs into my ipod! Makes sense? Yeahhhh. Alright, blackberry shall be it :)

I guess dilemmas can be solved by rational thinking of what you have and what you want.

P.S Caught Shrek forever after in 3D and it's definetly the best out of all the instalments! It reminded me of one important thing, treasure what you've got before it's gone, and that is definetly an understatement.

Isn't it wonderful to do something you really enjoy and getting paid for it?
Be it holding a concert singing, performing, or playing sports like tennis and golf.
It would be nice for me to get paid for my photography :) Through men, some things are possible but with God, everything is possible. I'm still holding onto it.

I really enjoyed David Leong's sermon on sunday. Well, at least K wasn't bored to death! More laughters this time! A name i'll remember. Hahahhaha even his props and message were really clear, uplifting and comforting. Next week Dr. Tan Lai Fong's preaching! Bet K can't wait.

Just like that, April is coming to an end. This month has been so packed. It seems like it was April's Fool just awhile ago and now it's almost may. I never ever want to experience 2 major exams on one day. I was beyond exhausted yesterday, and almost brokedown. I just pray somehow everything will be fine for us. At least, we have 2 weeks of holiday before school again :)

The flu's bug all around me. Daddy has flu and sore throat, mummy is catching it and people all around are sneezing. Thank God my exams are over. The weather is getting too unpredictable. Even weather forecasts can't be trusted anymore.

I'm still exhausted from all the studying and stress. Need time to slow down and get back the normal mode of my life. We're meeting with desert fam on thur at our usual place again, can't wait :) Alright i'm not really in a mood to type/talk. I just need rest. I'll just get back to watch ANTM cycle 14 with K.

It's never ever going to be enough.

At last, me and mich has finally book our BTT test! Hahahaha still a long way to go in order to drive but i guess i'll do what it takes to drive :) Btt's on 19th may at 10.30am, michelle tan!! Remember ah, you forgot you die. haha

Me and K really wanted to watch Alice in 3D so we went with mich, zann, shouko and resh. I wanted to catch the 11.30am one as we would have more time to do other things plus it wouldn't be so crowded, but because resh came late, we switched to the 1.30pm show. Guess what, there was some maintenance problem which left us waiting for almost 30mins. We could still joke that they should give us complimentary tickets for waiting soooo long. After the movie, someone came to the front and apologised for the delay and gave everyone a complimentary ticket valid for a month! WOW. So we went to watch "How to train your dragon" 3D which was MUCH better then the anticipated Alice. The feeing of watching a free 3D preview movie? Awesomeee.

We gave judy a little suprise birthday on friday since her birthday is today :) Hope you liked it!! Happy birthday judes! Thank you for everything these past 3 years and many more to come! All the best for your future cause i'm sure it's going to be a bright one. You better stay in the East! hahahhaha seeyou soon :)

After waiting for 2 long years, i finally got my first professional camera. Okay, fine, WE. Since K developed a interest of photography not too long ago, but i'm glad we both enjoy it:) Daddy kindly bought it for us at the IT fair since he was working there. Well, me and K split the price so the price doesn't feel so heavy. Well, what can i say? Professional means PROFESSIONAL, even the pictures taken are so different compared to the usual digital camera. Am still learning something new everyday. Hopefully, Dee, Canon EOS 500D will serve as well :)

These past week has been hectic and so will this week and next week be. At least there are some exciting parts to look forward too despite the 'not so exciting' ones. I dont know how many times i've been saying : I'm gonna book my BTT but i never did. Hopefully, this friday will be the RIGHT time to do so. I guess everything has its own timing, no point rushing. Alright have an awesome week ahead, i know i will!

K just kept drumming into me that she was preparing a suprise 19th party for me in May, so i was assuming what she said was true. I sensed something wasn't right when she was so flustered and excited. On wednesday, she told me cheryl was coming to our house to do some art project and to celebrate International Friendship Day, and i was gullible to actually believe her! So the day began as usual and suddenly mummy was cooking up a storm. I mean just the 3 of us and she's cooking for like 10? Something's not right. When K called me and tell me she was on the way home they locked me in a room! From that moment, i knew something was up.

Little did i know, the suprise party was almost 3 months earlier then my actual birthday! HAHAHA i got a real shock when i saw shouko, reshmin, judy, michelle, xinlin and zann! We played band hero (and i assume everyone had fun with it) and wii and chat, and took such little pictures :( and i can't believe we actually played 'catching' in the playground. Yeah, mind you, we're a range of 13-19 teenagers, not 3 -9 year old kids! LOL

Overall, i was indeed suprised and i had a blast :) Thankyou to every single one who played a part in it, even those who wrote me messages in the slides. They were so warm and close to the heart :) It was really special to me, well special people make even the simplest things special :)

What a lovely day spent last month at the Cheshire Home for the Disabled, apart from the passing of red packets to the people and talking to aunty barbara, me and krystal had a relaxing and awesome time :)

Okay, so me and mich are going to book out BTT next week, and hopefully we'll stick to it.

Daddy needed my laptop to prepare for the IT fair so i guess i won't have it till next monday. I'll prolly go help out in the next IT fair in september :) Why not make extra bucks?! *smile wide wide

As i am typing, the weather is a sweltering 35 degrees celsius, and it's gonna get hotter. Even the water from the tap are not spared, the coldest feels like warm water! Unbelievable! It might even beat the highest-ever temperature of 36 degrees celsius one day.

As my title states, driven to distraction was my ORHD group assignment/presentation. I wanted to take my BTT test as soon as i turned 18 but guess what, i'm almost 19 and i haven't even book a date. Looks like i was driven by distractions. One of my goal for 2010 is to get my license! I mean many signs are telling me not to delay, with our new car after a whopping 9 years and my graduation in dec, i guess now's the appropriate time to do so.

We just taught mummy how to play mahjong and now she loves it! Hahahaha it does help reduce the risk of dementia and it makes your fingers and brain active! We love mahjong! :)

A Holga is cheaper then a polaroid, so is its films.

However, i don't mind getting both, but i actually prefer the Holga.

I didn't wear a dress, for those of you who got a shock, i was playing around with my mum's top. There's shorts underneath!

It got me thinking, what really brings happiness?

I don't want to study/work all my life and not be happy.

I don't want to be too old to enjoy life.

I guess wise choices and decisions is the answer.

We say people change but then again, some people just don't change! They carry on doing what they do, even though it's not right. As we grow up, we finally understand the pain and anguish beneath the smiles and laughters and we try to avoid it. I guess CNY wouldn't be the same anymore. Imagine, we stick out like thorns. Of course we won't feel at ease at all. It's not something we look forward to. Like i said, less talking and more actions, well i'm trying!

Can't wait for friday as dinner is at emily's place! :) School begins on monday again and i have 2 tests and 1 report coming up. These too shall pass, these too shall pass.....

Good exercise for the heart is to bend down and help another person up.

So, this year started out pretty okay with a fair share of 'good and bad' things, but then again, what's good and bad might not appear likewise. This year CNY has been really relaxing, for once after all these years. Now you finally know how it feels! I guess time is the only way. Apart from that, the food these days were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Yesterday's presentation went really well, for the first time!! I never had a presentation gone so smoothly. Even our lecturer said she was impressed with the both of us when all the groups had 3 or 4 members. I am so glad it's over, it's before CNY :) one report and one presentation down, one more report and test to go!

Going to meet judy for dinner and have company law class soon. The weather is becoming so terrible that it's actually swallowing me up! I'm now thinking twice when i go out now thanks to the it. Alrighties, have a great CNY/long weekend!

Me 'squeezing' K's head and vice versa! HA talk about the difference between our nails! It's not like we can choose our nails right :(
Sometimes we are in situations in which we have to be alone. It's good to reflect, think about things and just have some quiet time with yourself i guess. But being always alone isn't good as well. I've got a assignment to hand in tmr, a test on sunday, full day meaning 10am to 6pm classes this weekend and a presentation the next week. Next two weeks are gonna get busy! Thank goodness there's CNY and i have a whole week of holiday (:

Caught the flu most possibly from K (but not her fault la) and now still recovering but my running/block nose and cough still lingers. When did flu viruses get so strong? So many people are sick, i just want to get well asap, especially before CNY. Sick = no good food! :(

Yet again, all you do is take and take and take. I've nothing left to say or feel anymore. These things just have to come one after another, will 2010 be better? I doubt. Cause things in this world are gonna get worse.

I'm in need of more faith, and i guess i should start re-reading my bible. After all, its repetitious, just like life. It will only start to evolve into a whole new world after all's been said and done and we'll have nothing, NOTHING to worry about.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE! :)
For me, it's not always about presents and parties, its more about that person up in heaven, my daddy. It's so so meaningful to celebrate for Him then anything else, seriously. Anyway, here's wishing everyone a blessed christmas and a happy new year! May next year bring more suprises and blessings from above! (ok this is gonna be a LONGG post to catchup, so for those who are interested, keep reading! hahaha blogger doesn't allow me to upload pics so will upload another time.)

Never, never underestimate the power of PRAISE. Frankly, i used to underestimate it. I would think that you couldn't just possibly praise something and you'll get it. Obviously, it can't be something bad for you, but to many people it may appear good. So, we've always liked drums/guitar and band-like stuff/games... At the back of my mind, i've always wanted a guitar hero or something like that but i knew it was too expensive and that it would just be a fragment of my imagination, but it turned into reality. Believe it or not, by the power of praise, me and K kept praising for band hero (its one of the newest and funnest guitar hero) and we actually got it 3 days after we started praising. My mummy just went : " Okay, i'll get it for you guys, it will be your christmas present". K's jaws dropped and i was just thinking..."OMG the power of praise...the power of praise..is indeed scary.." That was not the only incident, all i can say is God works in wonderful yet mysterious ways in which we cannot see. Oh and thankyou so much margaret for the power of praise books which you have given me! It not only changed our lives, it changes others as well! :) <3

Moving on, yesterday we celebrated christmas at the Cheshire Home for the second time in a row. Me and K baked 300 over cookies in 5 hours (yeah! and mind you, its with a small oven with 16 cookies per batch! BEAT THAT!) and distributed to everyone there. To see disabled people receiving something so little and feeling so grateful brought me close to tears. I had mixed reactions going on in my mind. I was hesistant about their reactions, yet i wanted to make their day. Most of them took it with a smile and a 'thankyou' while others who couldn't even speak just seemed so happy. Such satisfaction is beyond description. Bottom line: Giving to people closest to you hurts so much more then giving to those who can't give anything back to you. The bbq started from 3 plus all the way to 8 plus. Weather was good, food was good, company was good :)

I was down with flu since monday but am almost fully recovered. Praise God, hhahha i hate to be since during festive seasons, and my nose bled for like 15mins, omg i never want to experience that again, blood all over your face and throat ain't nice at all.

Finally, exams are over! I can continue with my shows! But school is starting so soon, sigh. Well, wouldn't say all 3 were easy but i just pray for the best :) Must remember to keep praising God in every situation, Amen? Praising and Praying really works somehow, the Power of the Ps! hahhaha.

Christmas is in another 8 days! Can't wait to share the love with the people at the Cheshire Home on christmas eve! :) Sometimes it's better to give to those who can't return then those who just keep on taking.

Yesterday was a great night of entertainment. We watched Menopause the muscial and i'm sure by my mum's laughter, she enjoyed it the most! Met Aunty Pauline at Funan Mall while having dinner and i did something so so silly. Actually, i wasn't the only one. This was what happened. K and i wanted to have pepper lunch at the food court so we were walking there, and i was just staring at the girl and thinking what to order while walking towards it. Little did i know, i was actually walking into a plastic wall which divided tables and the walking area. I was wondering why the girl was laughing to herself and when i noticed it, i was so embarassed, K even followed me all the way! LOL! While eating, i even saw a few people doing the same thing i did. Bottom line: Bad design, bad design. hahahahhaha.

Tomorrow's dinner at Emily's house with a few other people, i hope it's gonna be alright instead of akward.

Finally, got some time to breathe and catch up with what has been going on these past couple of days. This week was a mixture of Daddy's suprise birthday and school assignments,tests and project work.

I must say, Daddy's suprise was truly a huge SUCCESS! Thanks to everyone who made it happen :) I'm sure he appreciated it, he deserved it anyway :) There were lots of laughter, reminiscing memories and definetly tears of joy and happiness. You only turn 21 and 50 once a year, so why not make it something you'll never forget? We ate at Din Tai Fung a hopping 4 times this month! The xiao long bao and the yam dumpling were just irresistable and addictive.

School's assignments and work has been piling up and i'm thankful its over, but then again, exams are coming along with christmas. 2009's coming to an end already, faster then i thought. Need to go to school at 7pm later just to hand in assignment!

Alrighties, going to print out my FL assignment soon and i'm just happy today's friday :) TGIF.

Here are some of the stuff we baked..... first attempt :)

these are kinda like biscuits actually, but they look pretty.

And so, i wanted to finish up my Finance Law assignment hence my disappearing act from school today. The test yst was just ridiculously ridiculous. Anyways, can't wait for tuesday! :) Daddy's birthdayyyyy suprise! Hope he gets better to fully enjoy everything. I think suprising people is better then getting suprised, somehow.

Although Christmas is coming, exams are coming too :( 3 exams in 3 days, a week before christmas.

Me and K are so into baking now, we bake like almost every week. Once we have our new oven(soon), we'll start baking cakes and muffins and cupcakes!!

The weather is insanely today! It's like a heatwave. Okay gonna continue with my assignment now. OMG can't wait for antm cycle 13 finale!! GO LAURA! :)

These past few days have been crazy! There were classes on sat and sun from 11am to 6pm. Totally exhausting but mr godfrey is really nice, which makes lessons interesting :) Thank God for that. Need to survive another weekend, but i know nothing is impossible with Him :D

I had food poisoning yst and i had the worse stomach pain in history. It was excruciating. pfft. Anyway there's test and assignment to be done :(

Me and K made 2 types of cookies to practice for the Cheshire Home for christmas and boy do they taste great! Can't wait for christmas to come!

TOO MUCH THAT I'M ASKING FOR.

"Visualise your ideal body while working out".... that was what my wii trainer kept reminding me. I was being really active and i worked out an hour everyday. Something i never would do without the wii.

Yesterday was the ultimanium. I was thinking since i never really did the boxing exercises, i decided to do the full consecutive 20mins boxing, i felt good sweating it all out and i continued doing yoga and strength exercise and right after it while i was still panting, mummy asked me to hang the towels (yeah i love hanging stuff for some weird reason), and my arms just gave way! I knew i had strained it, and now i can't even carry a cup of water or open the fridge without feeling a tinge of strain. I excused myself from school today cause i know for sure i can't carry my bag.

Kiang3, mai4 gei2 kiang3! (Hokkien) Direct translation means smart don't act smart!

As my title states, i spend two days straight with two tings: munting, and rayting. Yesterday was nice.

Good company was thanks to cheryl, zann and krystal. Funny stuff always happens with K and Z around. If only we took more pics!

Xinlin came and we painted and played wii and i was quite suprised with my painting! :) haha miss kwek, i won't ask you to take pictures anymore! TSK wont mian qiang ni! anyway see you on wed:)

I found a new rave!
Now i'm confused, which DLSR should i get? The usual DLSR, or should i get the new lumix DMC GF1 from panasonic?

The lumix is so much lighter and it has all the aspects of a normal DLSR! Come on, its the world's smallest, lightest, interchangeable lens camera with artistic flat design! I totally dislike the bulk of the normal DSLR and they are always black in colour. There is black, silver, red and white but Singapore only sells black, silver and red colour. Well at least it's something different and it can fit into normal bags :)

Alrighty, will think about it carefully. Anybody with either cameras please comment! It's friday, which means there's survivor! :))yeeeehaaaaaaa.

So, a new addition to my relatives. A new aunty. It's been about 4 years since a new relative. First impression? Not bad, but i'll never know till time goes by.

It's frightening how people so close to you behave totally worse then those not even related to you. So sad but so true. It irks me to see how they think and behave especially when they blame the world entire world but themselves. Worse of the worse, they blame God. They already have a mirror to reflect their true self but they just can't see it. They only want to tortue and torment those around them by taking away their peace. I really can't wait and see what happens. I won't be the least suprise at all, really.

Migrains were always triggered when i ate too much chocolate and heaty stuff in one day or by huge amounts of stress. Yesterday i had the worse of it. It started with a light pounding pain at the back of my head, and slowly it became worse. The pain got unbearable to a certain extend that i wanted to just faint. I resisted taking panadol but it got too much, so i popped one panadol and thankfully it got better gradually. I felt like i was dying, it was just killing me. I was so afraid there was a tumor or something cause migrains are caused by blood vessels swelling inside your brain. I hope i never have to experience such great deal of pain, ever. Krystal was such a dear, she made my bed! :) ahah thanks! Had a great sleep despite my migrain.

Have make up lesson for finance law tmr. boo.
Dinner at sushi tei on friday :) Pssst, krystal, i bet you'll be able to eat by then! dont worry kay.

At last, blogger is finally back to normal. yay. i can upload pictures and change colour :) Here are some pictures to enjoy, it has been quite a while since my blog has pictures!!

The weather these days have been a killer.

Had a lovely dinner with family and Godma joyce at sushi tei at tamp1 and since it was our first time there, we just ordered whatever looked appealing. I read the translated english words and it stated : GRILLED PRAWNS WITH COD ROE. I was like, uh huh, this is it! The looks and smell of it just blew us away. The prawns were HUGE, bigger then your palm! haha and it tasted heavenly. I never tasted cod roe, although i eat fish roe but it was the best combination of prawn and roe! I could taste the sea water in the prawn! Plus the mayo and sauce was just a bonus. We'll be back, sushi tei!

Just received an email from school saying that the monday morning class has been changed to afternoon and my lecturer has been changed to mr hoa, yet again. Wonder if he was alright, since he didn't turn up last week. Hope it's nothing serious. Pro: I can sleep longer on monday. Con: I hate peak hours. Oh well, thanks to my handy dandy ipod touch, i think i won't be lonely on mondays!

Am waiting for ANTM cycle 13 to load.. Survivors on friday!! The daily routine is back! hahaha. Black pepper mini crabs for lunch. Simply the best! :)

So, after comtemplating with myself for so long and seeing such a good deal, i got myself an ipod touch with my own savings. Well, i needed something to store my music and i felt like rewarding myself, so why not? Wanted to get an 8GB for 388 one but they were only selling 16GB for 388, hence i bought that.It was definetly a steal for me!

I mean double the capacity and same price as 8GB! IT fairs rocks, and Thank God i dont need to go there myself. haha papa wan sui! Sound system, good. Internet, to a certain extent, Photos, good. Games? I don't even know how to get the free games! Still getting the hang of it. Help, someone!

I'm so addicted to lychee flavoured lakerol. Trying so hard to limit myself if not i'll go into laxative-mode. ha.
Weather's being really awesome. LOVE the smell of rain.

I reached school at 9.05am, thinking i was late for the first class of the new module, but guess what, the lecturer didn't even arrive. Waited till 9.15am, got fedup, waited till 9.30am, got pissed, waited till 9.50am, finally staff told us that my lecturer was very sick, lesson cancelled. It took 1 hour to inform us that there's no lesson, he had better give us valid reasons. Glad fenny, judy and maxine are in the same class :)

Tmr's workplace law, thank God for our normal clique. My shoulder is aching thanks to my bag, i better bring a haversack tmr. Silly heavy bulky blue file with the huge words SMa on it, i shall take out the ws :)

I keep procastinating about taking my btt :( UGHHHHH, okay michelle, we shall go ASAP OK!! she doesnt motivate me and i don't motivate her, hence we're still have not take our btt. sighhh

I WILL BELIEVE THAT THE PRICE OF THE DSLR AND I POD TOUCH WILL DROP WAY LOWER THEN I THINK!! :) it's all in the mind isn't it?

I don't like cold wars, i really don't.
I'm just grateful for what i've got.
I've got to work extra extra hard for next sem.
and this time, earlier. much earlier. last-minute work are causing me to suffer.
I'll pull myself up and let it go, cause i know i can do better both in body and soul.
I won't allow setbacks to control me, i will strive to do my best and carry on.

Finally cleared up my Facebook and Msn contacts. Deleted those i don't really know well and boy it feels good.

Now i'm confused if i should get an ipod touch or i pod nano :( Any recommendations of those who got either? There isn't any 4GB ipod nano and plus there isn't red, which sucks. I would rather pay a bit more to get something much better, but do i really need it? Temptations of the world...

Looking forward to BTP during the september holidays. Just want to chill, relax and chat with friends:) Best of all is to enjoy nature at its best. Pray for good weather!

School's starting very soon on monday. AW. But to be able to enjoy school like how i do is truly bliss :) Praise God for his mysterious but right ways.

Visited SAF Changi clubhouse for the first time on friday with emily and family for dinner. It would be almost impossible to go there without a car! Definetly too out of the way, but the place was serene and the sounds of the waves were relaxing. K and i kinda had phobia the entire time we were eating as the sea was just right below us and i always had this dream where crocs would come up from below and chase us all aorund. Ironically, the restaurant was called Water's edge. We were literally at the sea's edge. Nice.

Passed zann her laptop adapter and went up to emily's house for a while :) Too many people i know live in Bedok!! BTP outing soon and i'm going back to schoooool. Praise God it's only monday and tuesday again! With night and weekend classes starting in nov. Daddy's turning 50 and i can't wait for his suprise! I love suprising others more then getting suprised! Love the awesone weather! :)

I'm gonna make sloppy joes for dinner, all thanks to rachael ray! hahaha see ya when i see ya! Have a fab week everyone:)

Been wanting to try frolick frozen youghurt and its really good. Tried mango with K and J(: I ate it from a frozen youghurt to a semi sauce state till pure mango juice. hahaha all thanks to krystal peh as she was taking her own sweet time to pick out her specific FBT shorts: BLACK,WITH WHITE FBT WORDS(NOT GOLD), PREFERBLY STRAIGHT CUT AND SIZE L. Mind you, she has already 8 and counting. Even if you wear it everyday, you need not have so many! Mummy and Daddy spoils her like i don't know what!Okay lah, guilty as charged, me too. But at least i'm practical! Think twice about your ipod touch krystal! And i'm naggy for your own gooooood. You will miss my nagging, kiddo.

Branched/lunched at cafe cartel. Had light snacks and not so light dessert. EASTSIDE BROWNIE STACK IS THE BOMB! as usual, can't finish. hahha but who cares, worth it. Everytime i eat, it's always a thumb's up! Took pictures in a 'unique place' and we doubled in the pictures. HHAHAHA GET IT? love mirrors!

Talkin about cafe cartel, i met two unreasonable women and a baby. Okay the baby is innocent, but i pity her. Both of them were sitting in the inside of the cafe and we 3 wanted to get inside seats to snap pictures so we went ahead. In the process, her baby and pram were in the way, restricting ANYONE to go past them. But we went ahead, J accidentally knock the pram and the woman got so pissed. Thanks to a kind-hearted waiter, he told us its a bad idea sitting there as it was inaccessible and that she complained A LOT when a man accidentally hit her pram. In the first place, you know you have a baby and a HUGE pram, sit somewhere where you won't restrict others from sitting!You don't care about others and you're giving yourself a bad impression. Stop complaining, you want to eat outside you be practical, if not eat at home! You can even sit on your rooftop and eat. I was giving her cold stares whenever she looked my way. CHEY! STARE WHAT STARE! In the wrong still stare. Man, this world is getting worse each second.

Went home with K grumbling every second of the way from the heat to her fatigue to her bag and everything else she could whine about. Daddy fetched us and the first sentence she said was no thankyou but WHY SO LONG? tsktsk, children nowadays, terrible. Like K said, i'll be a strick mum. DUH, i don't want my daughters(specifically) to end up like you! HAHAHA.

okay i feel whiny now. Gonna faf and watch tv! :) OMG I CAN'T WAIT FOR ANTM AND SURVIVOR!SEP COME FAST FAST :)

OMG exams are finally over! Thank God it's over. Employment relations this morning was okay but not very satisfied with my answers. ugh oh wells. International finance and treasury management were suprisingly better then ER, cause i studied so much more for those two then my elective. Glad there's report and test to pull the marks up. Next exams are in dec! :/ i can finally rest till then. whew. I can finally play/exercise my wii, watch movies and sleep/wake up late! how i wish this cycle woudn't end. hmmmm.

So i guess i'll have holiday till 7sep :) awesome! but judgement day for results is gonna be so worrying. Well, let's just leave it in God's hand.

Really need to get a mp3 player/i pod nano cause i hate it when i'm smsing and the music is like chopping away. I chose that since i'm paying fo it my own and plus i love the pretty colours and size of ipod nano. Krystal, however, wants an i pod touch. Reason? Can hear music and go on FB and fish a fish! LOL.

With the nightmare teacher i got, i forced myself to study so damn hard that i won't fail this module and retake it to see him ever again.
Gonna meet aunty joyce later to bring her to my school and enquire stuff and

On the worried note, i've done NOTHING for my exams which start on the 18th. I just don't know how and when to begin. OH GOD PLEASE HELP ME! I'm most worried fo IF and TM, especially with the kind of teacher i got for IF, the worst kind ever. I just can't wait for the exams to be over and i know i can't fail anything if not i won't be able to graduate in oct next year! I NEED STRENGTH AND GRACE FROM GOD TO PULL THROUGH THIS STRESSFUL TIME. ugh this just sucks so badly.

I've enrolled for my next semester and i'll be taking corporate finance(OH GREAT JUST WHAT I WANTED! LIKE REAL.), finance law and workplace law. Talk about FINANCE AND LAW! Sometimes i wonder why i chose a degree in banking and finance.

Nowadays, i just stop and think a lot. Do i really know what i'm doing? Do i like what i'm doing? Am i just doing for the sake of doing? I must tell myself i can never turn back the clock.

Sorry for the lack of photos, but blogger still has some problems going on. I'd rather not expect anything from anyone. I should have used wordpress in the first place and go with my guts. There's nothing i can do now. LIVE WITH IT.

Althought at times you try to make me regret asking for you and we had our share fair of fights both verbally and physically, we'd always laugh at our mistakes and pretend like nothing happened. I must say sisters who don't fight ain't close at all!

But i won't forget all the times when you would always follow me around, even till now! COPYCAT! hahhaha well i'll let you copy me cause you're an exception, who ask you to have the same surname as me? :)

As xinlin said, thirteen is the first year of anyone's 'teen' and nineteen is the last. Hence, i wanted K to forever remember her 13th :) and i'm sure she will cause i won't forget it.

It's just so amazing that certain situations you thought were bad turned out to be something so much better than you expected! Yesterday was truly the coldest day of my life here in Singapore. If you know me well, i'm always complaning of heat and i would just adore every second of the air corn or cold wind which i may have. But yesterday, weirdly, it was seriously freezing in class, outside, in the car, at home! I have a feeling it was caused by the eclipse as some people say eclipse causes avid changes in the weather. hmmm, but today's weather looks back to normal!

Met joy before she goes to the US next week. Hung out, chatted and took billions of pics :) Hope to see you again when you come back for summer holidays or when you return here to work! :) I can't put pictures thanks to blogger glitches :( Now i know why mummy doesn't like technology. ha ha.

OMG me and judes are gonna complete the LAST PERDISCO, hopefully of our lives!!!! can't wait for it to be over. I can't believe it but next week(mon and tues) is the last week of class and then study break! OMG i'm so excited. Not for exams lah, for something else, something i really look forward too :)

Firstly, what's up with blogger? I can't see the homepage and i'm bloggin in a little corner. No colours no images, nothing!

Anyways, school this week was awesome! :) Skipped IF class on purpose and boy does it feel SO good. made my week even better!

i can't imagine nic and judy were laughing SO loud in the train on the way back. hahahhaa i was holding my laughter so badly and i kinda failed doing so. HA, eyes can talk huh!

Mr hoa's class was seriously hilarious! He was hyper all the way, i bet everyone in the building could hear him. I was always wondering who is the teacher who sounds like he's so agitated and always shouting! Now i know. Wonder why he uses a mic when his voice roars even without it.

I had a series of really weird and emotional dreams last night. I could remember some parts here and there but it was mostly of fear. Perhaps i was feeling insecure or stress and guess what i did? I bit my tongue the entire night and when i got up this morning, the pain was stinging. Now i'm struggling to eat/drink any sour,salty,spicy food or drinks! Thank God i didn't bite my tongue and bleed to death! Now i have an ulcer on my lip and a deep cut on my tongue, can it get worse?

Today marks the death of my camera and the birth of krystal's :( My sony cybershot T70 has gone from sickly to deathly. I can't even take a shot anymore because the lense broke! Yeah you would think i'm really irresponsible and careless but when you ACTUALLY have sweaty palms like mine, you better think again and again. So goodbye sonyt70, hello sonyw180(: Well, a camera is essential to us so it doesn't matter what brand/model although i really hope to get my dslr in the near future(:

Judy and her mum came to our house before she moves from the east to the west :( Played wii, chat, ate and camwhore. Those were the final moments with my camera! okay i'm sounding really emotional over a piece of metal, but hey, it was my FIRST digital camera.

I've yet to complete my ER report in which i'm still confused and my second last perdisco for TM. I should get going. It's the weekend today, lalalalalala.(the song). hmmmm.

Finally, with determination and perserverance, i've reached a 100 posts! (: Despite giving up my first blog due to lack of determination and laziness, it feels good to know you can do better then you think!

ER test was quite tricky, especially the part on circling the INCORRECT answer. Come on, don't come and play reverse psychology with me, and chapter 8 came out! When he said chapter 8 is not going to be tested. HMMM, good that he's doing something about that. IF test was relatively easy and it felt SO DAMN GOOD to go home after the test instead of staying for class. Hahaha have been skipping two classes in a row, the weather today was too hard to resist for staying at home and the absence of judy made it more difficult to leave home!

Oan and Nui from Changmai came to our house yesterday! Great suprise, haven't seen them in about 4 years! Took millions of pictures and played abit of wii and i had to rush to sch for IF test, thanks daddy for the lift but the jam was horrible. Thank God class started a little late.

What's coming up this weekend? MID TERM TESTS :( On youth day holidays! And i'm still considered a youth. pffft. Today, while i was photocopying some stuff for someone, i realised papers are really important. Not just ordinary papers, papers which have your name written on with a qualification. Without it, you're a nobody. With lots of it, you're a somebody. Ain't it crude? That's just the world and thank God it's not my home, cause mine's up there ;)

I never want to hear the words INTERNATIONAL FINANCE no more. You have no idea how much i dread IF classes. The lecturer either makes you interested in the subject or makes you hate it. Unfortunately, he makes me hate it thanks to him. It just brings back so many bad memories. After the exam in august, i will delete EVERYTHING about it and pray damn damn hard that i will never ever see him again. One thing for sure, what goes around comes around and actually i'm pitying you instead.

You know what you did and if you continue to do so, i really don't know what will happen to you in future. Actually, i'm kind of scared FOR you although you are making people scared OF you. If you think you succeeded in making me scared of you, keep trying. Why should i be scared of you? you're just a human being like anyone else! chey!

Been exercising everyday for at least 1 hour straight. I love running the island wide 7mins jog(: Ok Employee relations test on sunday and even mr hoa doesn't know whats the focus topics, and IF test on mon, forget about it cause i don't even give a hoot. Yesterday's fire drill was just a waste of time. If it was a real fire, we all would have been burned up. hahahaaha! okay perdisco time again! chao.

It's true, i've never enjoyed exercising everyday or even a few times a week. I hate to get out of the house just to exercise and i need to change out of clothes and share equipment with others. With Wii Fit, it's just too good to be true! It includes yoga, strength training like push ups, aerobics like hula hooping and balancing exercises like skiing and running on the spot! I never exercised so much in one day and it sure does make you sweat and burn those calories! It's something worth investing for you and your whole family(:

Alright, enough of advertising for nitendo. Treasury management test today was not disappointing neither was it easy. It was just barely manageable with frequent blank outs and confusion. There were still alot of stuff i didn't understand and memorise but i did my best(: It didn't even feel like a test, more like an exam. The funny thing is, there were so many people in taking the same paper that we had to sit like literally next to each other having either 2 or 3 people in one row. Judy was on my right and a woman who was from my IF class was on my left. You could have just shift your head a few cm to your right and peeped. It was that close, but there were so many inviligators. Next is Employee Relations and International finance! :( Next week! ahhhh.

I can't wait to get my Diploma certificate in Business Administration on monday! (: It feels so good to know that you can acheive that much. Praise God for guiding me these past 2 years! He never fails to motivate me and to make me do my utmost best! I pray that i will do as well for my degree as i did for my diploma.

My entire body is really getting a workout! I can feel my muscles adjusting. Hopefully, there will weight loss and i'll be healthier(: Okay gonna finish up perdisco and guess what? MONDAY'S COMING WITH IF :( boo hooo. Have a greaaat weekend tods!(:

Don't you hate the feeling of a running tap in replace of your nose and every breath you take just seems like extra work for your nose? I do, and i hate it. My immune system must be feeling the stress i have for my mid term tests and exams :( Do pray for me!

Had quite a reconnected time a past week with steff, and the ex-kcian gang(: It's suprising how fast people change and how they are getting influence with people around them. Well, i guess people really do change with time. Enjoyed myself despite some uncomfortable moments. Am really thankful for zann and mich for their presents! Although its belated, better then nothing! Finally, after 12years and 10months, krystal peh finally knew how to cycle! hahaha of course with the help of steffanie!(: thanks alot girl! I cannot believe i haven't seen you for almost 2 and a half years! You've grown! And i mean literally! You're so much taller then me now! I really had a great time just chilling and talking about everything, especially those in the past(: It's just so comfortable around you and to talk like how we did almost three years ago feels so warm and fuzzy(: Badminton was fun and now i'm aching.

The day i've been waiting for since forever is finally here! We're getting a WII!!! With manipulation, reverse psychology and daddy's job which requires him to go for every IT fair, we're finally getting one!!!!! (: So excited please. Judes and dorcas(: I love monday afternoon classes with them!!

Was surprised thankful to receive belated cards and presents from dearest judy and dorcas. Thankyou guys, really sweet of you! Loved your cards HANDMADE cards and your unique presents manymany!! (: you know how much i love handmade stuff right! and thankyou intan, for your sweet birthday post for me! I print screen and kept it in my com so i can keep reading it over and over again when i'm old(: ILY! you guys really made my day!

Class was quite okay on monday, kinda bored cause miss samuel was enjoying herself in ooty?! hhahahaa missed her ' Merci' and Dunkersher (sp?)! I was so sick of monday night class, especially the lecturer, so i didn't go and i felt so gooooood(: I thought shanti was bad enough, but there's always someone worse! Like they say in chinese, there will ALWAYS be a mountain higher. ohwelllzzz.

Uhhhh, so super lazy to go down to Ubi to go book my BTT date!!! I hate to go out just for one activity. Mayb i'll meet krystal or some people along the way. Michelle tan, lets go asap okayyyy. You waited since febuary! haaa and i miss you lotzzz in school lah, i need to laugh more leh. Laughing is still the best. Mid term tests are coming really soon and i need to do my best especially for treasury management because perdisco is toughtough :(

Yesterday the train tracks on the east west line had some problem and trains were delayed for more than 30mins, thank God for daddy who fetched me and nic to school(: That is why i swore to get my license asap and i can drive wherever i want to go. Problem: CAR, i can only use when daddy's not using :(

I'm gonna practice perdisco now, and study for treasury management's test on the 27th, i hope. Wish me luck.

Finally turned eighteen yesterday and i had a splendid time from wednesday onwards(: Monday and tuesday were seriously terrible. Firstly, praise God for giving me eighteen years filled with so much love and grace and i would not be where i am if i didn't have Him!(: This is gonna be the longest post yet, so if you don't want to read, no one's stopping you, if you want to know what went on for my 18th, enjoy reading! ((:

Firstly, I would like to especially thank daddy, mummy, krystal and aunty joyce for preparing so much suprises, giving me so many things and doing the most for me! I love you mummy daddy for everything you've done these 18 years and aunty joyce, you just have a really big heart!

Krystal peh, i know you cannot take so much stress! hahhaha but i'm really touched by everything you've done! Every single thing was so special and original. You are indeed so artistic and talented and extremely adorable and pretty(: ILY!!! I would never forget what you did!

Wednesday:
Went to shop a little, visit gong2 and lastly went to the bottle tree park at khatib with the recommendation of aunty joyce. It's a really nice place to just relax, unwind and enjoy God's creation and nature at its utmost best. The weather was really nice and there are so much activities there, it isn't any ordinary park. When i get my hands on my DSLR, that would be the first place i want to go! Great place! We had a great workout and great time with great company, something i'll never forget. The place just gets you addicted and you will keep coming back for more!

Thursday:
Never have i had such horrible looking blisters in my life. Culprit? Ice skating. The blisters had water in them and it hurt so badly i couldnt even put any pressure on it. With a bit of knowledge from roller blading, i thought it wouldn't be so bad. Hahaha i was wrong. It was not easy to ice skate with such hard and unflexible skates! It was fun and the weather was heaven but my feet just surrendered and told me that flip flops were the only thing i could ever wear till it wears off in future, which i hope it will. :( But no pain no gain! I wouldn't mind ice skating again with better quality of skates! However, krystal was just so into it, not wasting any second of that two hours and tolerating a few small minor blisters on her feet. HAHA wildcat. Dinner was wonderful with emily joining us at Grand copthrone waterfront hotel. Food was okay but company was great!

Friday:The "big" day! Had awesome breakfast made by mummy and krystal. It was just a normal type of breakfast, no big hooha but i could feel the homely and warm feeling which i love(: We rested and waited excitedly for dinner at Kuishin bo. The snow crab there was really good and so was the green tea ice cream. I never ate this full before and we just ate non stop for 2 hours. Not forgetting helium balloons! We should just get a tank of helium next time! hhahaha we took videos of us talking when we inhaled helium and it sure was interesting. Had a good night's sleep with memories forever lingering in me. And guess what? Monday's coming the day i hate.

I had a really great birthday this year and thankyou to everyone who made it so special. Every little thing you said and did made a difference and i'm really thankful and grateful to those who made my 18th such a special one! (:

Finally done with perdisco! WHEW. a burden off my chest. Scored 58% for indices and 64% (when it should have been 85%!!) for arbitrages. anyway, we passed judes! HAHAHA so proud of ourselves. We did it all by ourselves! (: With Jesus looking and guiding us of course.

Another 8 more days till i'm legal to learn driving and off i go! You have no idea how much i can't wait to get my driving license and say byebye to public transport!!!!!! Never really had a GREAT or surprise birthday for my 16th or since young cause daddy was ALWAYS in taiwan in the first month of june but guess what!? He's here this year! YAY(: and its my 18th! Hope it will be a great one! Just received a small and sweet present from Bernice (you are way early!), hahha but thankyou!(: it's the thought that counts, don't worry bout it.

Flu's getting better each day thanks to your constant prayers(: can't wait for next week! Wednesday onwards that is, def mon and tues not included thanks to sch. hahaha had a indoor bbq in my own home and it was interesting, luckily the house did not catch fire. HAHA. it triggered my flu though, hmm.

Turning eighteen in 10 more days, and my immune system surrendered to the flu :( i need to recover soooon. Almost died in school yesterday, was telling myself that i could survive the whole day of class from 2pm till 10pm, almost didn't. Poor nose, i had to breathe through my mouth all the time, with few seconds intervals of sniffings.

Thank God i can rest for the whole of this week(: Ahhhh 2 more days till perdisco's deadline. Miracles? Why not. Have a great weeek!!

Perdisco e workbook is due on the 25th this month and today's the 20th. wow. If i had my student number to access Murdoch i would have done it long ago. Questions? Tough? Nah, super super tough.

As i was saying in my previous post, HAPPY BIRTHDAY INTAN! Am glad i knew you since sec 1 and you're really a fun person to be with. You never fail to make me laugh and we sure do have a special bond with 'cats'! I won't forget all those memories and thankyou for everything! May you have many more great birthdays! And let's meet up someday, for real! (: ILY! MEOWWW.

Mothers' Day 2009 was fab(: It's great to feel appreciated and it's even better that those years of nagging didn't fall on deaf ears and it's the best when you realised that your sacrifice was worth it! This just increased my yearn to become a housewife just like my mummy and to be there for my children and bring them up darn well(:

Got an early birthday present from krystal and aunty joyce(: THANKYOU GUYS! Although touch phone isn't really suitable for me, but who cares. As long as i like, it doesn't matter(: So, LG KU990 became my 6th phone in 6 years, and i'm quite satisfied with it and hopefully i'll use it as long as possible, unlike my other phones. hurr.

Degree has been pretty okay but two classes on one day is really tiring. But i'm not gonna complain, especially when i compared my timetable to my other friends. My textbooks (although it's only 3) is so heavy and it doesn't fit into my bag, plus those extra huge files my bag just surrendered. Need to get a backpack so both my shoulders can support th weight if not my right shoulder will soon give way :(

Weather has been both hot and cold at the same time and it sucks. I got until sunday to rest and back to monday and tuesday and then i have a tiny mid term break till 1june. haha. i'm glad i have no school on my birthday(: YAYNESS. Glad there ain't no project work!

Off to eat my breakfast cum lunch. i cannot wait for ANTM cycle 12 finale tmr(: and all the best to krystal, xinlin, jingyi and bernice for your oral,lc and lit! (: jiayou!!

I'm trying so hard to be slow to anger despite all the current tense situations of other people's mistakes. Who says it's easy? May i have the strength to overcome everything through Jesus Christ, Amen!

With time passing by so fast, i can see how people, even the ones who were close to you drifting further and changing because of influences from those around them. The culprit? Influences. By the way they talk, write, behave, to the words they used. It's sad to see them all different from how they used to be. I miss the ol' them. That just proves that time will change everything and people will change time.

I'll have a great thursday and saturday, i know i will(:

UNENDING PLAGUES.

Women are like roses, they bloom for just a short while. Here today, gone tomorrow.

Went down to school to clarify all the things i needed to prepare for my degree and i knew something was up. But never did i expect that i was actually not in the may intake and i had to RE-ENROLL again! I was really pissed off and i was there for TWO hours plus waiting and clarifying. If i didn't make that trip down, i would just have to start in september, THANK GOD i did. It was clear that they were shorthanded and there were definetly more students then consultants, with a ratio of 4:1, with consultants being 1. Some people still have the cheek to cut the queue and complain she's waiting for half an hour and here i am wishing that i could shout at her and tell her i've been waiting for two hours and still waiting! And now i'm still waiting for my two other certs from the student services because they are moving levels. Tell me about inefficiency!!

Anyway, got my timetable and other stuff. Starting school on 11th may (intan's birthday, haha) and i only have school on mon and tues, with mon being a whole day from afternoon till night. At least i don't have weekend classes(: Realised Mr soh is my treasury management lecturer again :/ I pray for good teachers, good classmates, good projects, good exams and good WEATHER!! Mothers' day is in a week's time, I LIKE (:

Workshops and orientations are on 7th and 9th may with 9th may being vesak day, how much more ridiculous can it get? Although Perth has no vesak day but Singapore has, and i'm a Singaporean! Anyhow, have a great weekend and happy labour day too! (:

Nothing beats making your own sandwich(:

Just came back from tampines 1 and i will not say its fabulous, but the weather today was fabulous(: Praise God for the rain! The railings/mirror at each level of tamp 1 is really really fragile and i felt kind of uncomfortable especially when i fear heights. Tea dot sells really unique and refreshing tea! (: and Manpuku sells pretty good jap food too. I'll upload those hundreds of pictures from my camera to my computer and then to my blog when i don't feel so lazy(:

I had an unexpected doorbell last week and it turned out that it was my CIM certificate. And they wrote my name as 'MEAGAN SU RONG PEH' and when my dad saw it, he was like who is this? LOL Your surename ain't SU! Go call them and tell them! I was like what you want me to do? Ask them to change my name all the way from UK ah? it isn't the first time anyway. Don't just assume all Megans are spelled like that, human nature huh.

We finally packed our room and re-arranged it to make it neater and bigger and i must say we succeeded. We spent 5 solid hours throwing away so much trash. Hard work pays off! (duh)

I'm waiting and waiting for emails from school to figure out when my degree starts and it's driving me to the wall when they are taking too long. I emailed them twice and all they tell me is that they'll get back to me. Inefficiency! If what charmaine told me about the schdules is accurate, THANK GOD(: I hope i don't have to go down to school to fill in that particular form!

p.s xinlin! you got me addicted to 'the man who can't be moved' by the script!!
